How safety is made.

From our own tools to series production
Stamping and deep drawing of bursting elements and membranes is our craft. We maintain an extensive machine park for it. We design the tools ourselves and build and maintain them in our in-house toolmaking shop. That gives us full control over every step of production. A high degree of automation allows us to manufacture and process many of our products in very high volumes. Whether a single piece or a series, the standard of quality remains the same.
/ Tooling and production
Stamping and deep drawing is our craft. We build the tools for it ourselves.
The basis
Classic stamping and deep drawing of bursting elements and membranes is our core competence. We maintain an extensive machine park for it. We design, build and maintain the tools in our own toolmaking shop.
Automation
A high degree of automation allows us to manufacture and process many products in very high volumes – at consistent quality.
/ Testing
Every rupture disc is tested before it leaves the building. Up to 7,000 bar.
Safety and quality
Our processes ensure complete traceability of every product. During production we use analogue, digital and optical test methods. Our test centres are equipped with modern measurement and control technology for test pressures up to 7,000 bar.
Leak tightness
Every Hybrid Assembly® and Hybrid System® that leaves our building undergoes a leak test.
Long-term and load tests
With our self-designed pressure-cycling test rig we analyse the load capacity of rupture discs under fluctuating pressure conditions over extended periods – also on behalf of customers.
/ Finish and analysis
Clean, marked, understood: what happens after production matters too.
Cleanliness
A modern, environmentally compatible cleaning system ensures the required cleanliness of our products.
Marking
Required markings by laser or various printing processes are a matter of course for us.
Material and rupture analysis
With our microscopes we analyse material and structures down to grain size and examine fracture zones after a rupture in detail. This allows the cause of atypical burst events to be determined.
Questions about production or test methods?
We are happy to show you how your rupture disc is made. And on request we also carry out testing on your behalf.
