All pressure safety devices of our modular system are self-contained bursting units designed for installation in vessels, valve blocks and piping systems. A threaded port with a sealing ring is all that is needed to achieve the required safety. We offer suitable solutions for gaseous as well as liquid media.
The WBS assemblies consist of a housing and an exchangeable burst foil which is sealed metal-to-metal by means of a pressure screw. The housings are made of high-grade stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L). Nickel, stainless steels and nickel-based alloys such as Inconel*) can be used for the burst foils. Due to the design, a helium leak rate of up to 1 x 10-9 mbar l/s is achievable.
Hybrid Assembly® G 1″ WBS
A reusable solution: the bursting element can be replaced by the customer after activation or as part of maintenance intervals. Replacement rupture discs can be reordered or kept in stock. This shortens plant downtimes and maintains the required safety at low cost. Different bursting elements can be used in this housing, protecting burst pressures from 3 to 600 bar. Marking is by means of nameplates supplied with the bursting elements.

Hybrid System® G 1/2″ WBS
Also a system with replaceable rupture disc for multiple use. An additional thread enables a defined discharge of media. The available fittings can all be combined with each other, so the desired inlet and outlet threads can be put together.
