All pressure safety devices of our modular system are self-contained bursting units designed for installation in vessels, valve blocks and piping systems. A threaded port with a sealing ring is all that is needed to achieve the required safety. We offer suitable solutions for gaseous as well as liquid media.
All Hybrid System® types consist of a housing and a burst foil which is sealed metal-to-metal by means of a pressure screw. The burst plugs are designed to the customer’s requirements with regard to burst pressure and temperature.
The Hybrid System® housings are made of high-grade stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L). Nickel, stainless steels and nickel-based alloys such as Inconel*) can be used for the burst foils. Due to the design, a helium leak rate of up to 1 x 10-9 mbar l/s is achievable.
Hybrid System® STANDARD
The double-nipple design enables a defined discharge of media through the additional external thread. The screw design corresponds to that of the standard Hybrid Assembly.

Hybrid System® HIGH PRESSURE M16 x 1.5
Used in the proven, widely used high-pressure fittings and valves with sealing cone. The lower overall height is an advantage over conventional high-pressure holders.
